AAU State Results
Spartans had a great weekend at AAU State in both divisions, walking away with a state runner-up plaque for their performance as a club in the blue division Saturday. Congratulations to all of our Spartans who competed, and especially to these champions and place winners below. Special shout-out to Sedrick Laird, who completed his sweep of the Missouri Challenge, Ozark District and AAU State tournaments to earn a Triple Crown award! This award will be presented to Sedrick at our banquet after the conclusion of the USA State series.

Yesterday concluded the season for those wrestlers not competing in the USA series. We hope your boys enjoyed themselves and had a positive experience this season!
The Minis banquet will be held at Matteson Square Garden at 6 p.m., Monday, March 6. Please have your RSVP to me with the number of children from your family no later than noon Friday, March 3.
The Jr. Spartan banquet is a separate event and will be held in April at the conclusion of the USA series. We hope you will come back and join us then!
I will have the deposits at FHC near practice Tuesday (tomorrow) 5:45-6:30 p.m. Please give them to me rather than to a coach. We will have at least two more opportunities to turn in singlets before deposits are forfeited, with the final return after USA State. Thanks!
Practice schedule for the USA wrestlers:
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 6-8 p.m. Practice may have to be held in the cafeteria, so check there if no one is in the wrestling room when you arrive.
Tuesday is USA districts seeding meeting at Rockwood Summit High School. All seeding information received has been forwarded, but we will need representatives to attend the seeding meeting for each age group: Please let us know if you will attend and for which age group.
