Spartan News: Congratulations to Spartan Aidan Hernandez for his second-place finish in the 12U 120-lb weight class at Tulsa Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma! After losing his first match to the eventual champion, Aidan went on a tear and won his next seven matches to bring home an eagle trophy. Great job!
Practice schedule for the rest of the week: Wednesday: Due to a home dual meet for the high-school teams, the Mini-Spartans will need to bump their practice to 7-8:15 p.m. This is the last home dual meet of the season, so this should be the last time the Minis have to adjust their time slot. Thursday: Jr. Spartans 6-8 Missouri Challenge This Weekend Don't forget weigh-ins for the Missouri Challenge (BOTH Blue and Gold divisions) are 6-8 p.m. Friday at Fox Senior High School. Alternative weight-ins are Saturday 7-8 a.m. for Blue Bantam/Midget/Novice and 11:30-12:30 for Blue Schoolboy/Cadet. Alternative weigh-ins for the Gold division and Tots are 7-8 a.m. Sunday for all age groups.
