How our wrestlers should register

Given the fact that we are keeping all the parents out of the building during practice (except the Minis), we are offering a different option for registering for this tournament.

To register, please reply to this email as soon as possible but no later than Thursday, Nov. 19 with the following information:

• Your wrestler's name
• Your name
• Your best phone number in case we need to reach you
• We have taken or will be taking every child's weight at practice, so there is no need to include this information. Refer to the flier to find out your child's AAU age division.

You can pay the $30 fee:

• By sending cash or check (payable to Spartan Wrestling) in an envelope with your wrestler's name on it to practice next Tuesday or Thursday. We will have someone in each room available to collect the payments at the beginning of practice.
• By sending it via Venmo to @LeAnn-Cross (It will probably ask for the last four digits of my phone number, which are 5007). Make sure to list your wrestler's name and the tournament name in the payment description.

Although our tournament deadline for entries is later, we have set a maximum number of wrestlers for each session, so the tournament may fill up quickly, given the limited number of available tournaments. We want our Spartans to have first priority!

PLEASE NOTE: There are strict rules surrounding this tournament, and we realize those rules may not work for everyone. That said, we do have to enforce them. Properly worn masks are required for everyone at all times, except for wrestlers while wrestling. We have a one wrestler, one parent rule. The only children who may attend are the ones wrestling, and only during their assigned session. This means you may have to come up with child care arrangements or trade kids with your spouse or other adult during the day, and the nonattending parent may have to watch a replay of their child's first wrestling matches of the season by phone. :-(
