It's tournament week!

Deadline to sign up for the Spartan Kickoff Tournament is Thursday at 6 p.m., so don't forget to register before practice if you haven't already!

Don't forget to check your schedule this week -- this is the week that practice days change. Minis change to Mon./Wed. and both Jr. Spartan rooms move to Tues./Thurs. A current schedule is always posted on swczone.com, with lots of reminders on Facebook and Twitter.

The Mini-Spartans will have practice matches at their Wednesday practice to prepare them for what will be the first tournament for many. Have them wear their singlets under their shorts and T-shirts so they can get the full experience. It is our hope that this exercise will help them have a positive and more confident experience this weekend.

Tournament volunteers: Here is the link to the Signup Genius if you have not yet signed up for a time slot: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0f4eaca62ca7f94-12416 Visit the Signup Genius link no later than Wednesday, Nov. 30. Any remaining slots will be filled in with the names of parents whose wrestlers are signed up for the tournament but who have not yet signed up for a slot. All volunteers who sign up for a morning or all-day session should plan to arrive by 8 a.m. Afternoon workers should arrive by noon.

Weight checks: Any of the kids who have not had their weights recorded at practice within the past week need to do so at the next practice. All kids signing up for tournaments must have recorded weights before their tournament registrations can be submitted.
