What is the USA Wrestling State Series?
The USA State series is a competitive tournament series comprising three levels of competition: Districts (March 4), Regionals (March 11) and the State tournament (March 25-26). Anyone may enter (age groups are 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U based on age on Dec. 31, 2016), but the top six finishers at each of eight districts advance to regionals, and the top four from each of four regions advance to the state tournament, where the top six finishers will medal.

Date: March 4

USA Region D Tournament
Date: March 11
Location: Mexico, MO
USA State Tournament
Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, March 25-26
Wrestlers must stick with the same weight class for the entire tournament series, and they will weigh in for each tournament per the schedule that will be on the fliers for each tournament. A seeding meeting will be held before the district tournament; the next two tournaments will be seeded automatically by finish in the previous tournament. Wrestlers should not enter unless they are committed to competing for the duration of the series.
Seeding information must be submitted in advance of the seeding meeting. No additional information may be brought into the meeting. They are requesting each wrestler's season record in an Excel spreadsheet. You may e-mail them to email@example.com and I will submit them and get copies to our seeding meeting representatives.
