Parents, please note that Francis Howell Central released this update regarding access to the high school over Christmas Break:
Hello Spartan Nation,
As many of you are aware, the City of Cottleville is currently repairing/replacing the sidewalks along Hwy N. This project will make Hwy N much safer for all of our students and community members who utilize this for access to our campus and throughout Cottleville. In doing this, they will need to shut down the entrances to our campus for short periods of time. In an effort to make this logistically possible for both Francis Howell Central High School and Saeger Middle School, we will stagger when each entrance will be closed, thus allowing one entrance to remain open at all times.
The entrance to Spartan Drive will be closed beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 21st, immediately after we clear the parking lot after student dismissal at Howell Central. This will leave the main entrance as the only way in/out of campus until Tuesday, December 26th. Beginning on Tuesday, December 26th, the main entrance will be closed, leaving Spartan Drive as the only way in/out of campus until Wednesday, January 3rd, when all entrances should be open again.
While they are closed, the entrances will be clearly marked with cones and tape indicating they are not accessible. We want to make everyone aware of these closures and the timeline to avoid any possible confusion or frustration. There will be one entrance available at all times for access to both Francis Howell Central High School and Saeger Middle School.
Thanks so much for your patience and understanding, and we hope all of you have a wonderful Holiday Season.
